I have a high SS of 115 and when I gear up it can be 125 so my shaft of choice is a Blue Board 83X tipped 1/2" stiff and I If you fight hooks/draws, this thing will be perfect. If so where. i retried the monster the other day and once again i simply disliked the twangy noise it makes at impact!!!

I found moving the ball an inch back off my left heal and having the clubface slightly open at address worked well for me. When it comes to auditory impressions, the XLS makes one in a big way. That original HiBORE lasted two weeks in the bag. I do have the XLS in 3h and 4h; they are MOST superior to the XL versions. Perhaps, "XLS" actually stands for "eXtra Loud Sounding." If you want to scare everyone in your group on the first tee, this might be the driver for you.
