I did nit follow Step 1 (it was not necessary for me to deal with the bios). I reverted to 8.1, removed Cisco VPN and was able to upgrade to 10 without any problems. Enjoy the drink! Sign in to add this video to a playlist.

I ended up having to do pretty much everything, step by step as what was laid out in this guide after upgrading my main Windows 8.1 laptop on a Dell E7440.
