When I connect the USB to Mini USB it is detected and Windows reports it back as installed correctly. Note that the end on the light-blue console cable has been replaced and a yellow boot added because of excessive wear. I’m running a 64-bit Windows OS so I’ll double-click the Windows_64 folder.
